Roundup is a city in the U.S. state of Montana, United States and the administrative seat of Musselshell County.
Geography
Roundup is located in the center of Montana and extends over an area of 3.47 km ². The city is surrounded by the Bull Mountains, a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains and is drained by the Musselshell River.
In 2010, the population was 1,788.
History
Originally Roundup was a place where ranchers drove their cattle together (English: roundup ), hence the name.
