Rouven Kai Sattelmaier ( born August 7, 1987 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German football player.

Career

Sattelmaier began with the club football at TSV Affalterbach, his home and youth club from the district of Ludwigsburg. He played in the youth divisions of the VfB Stuttgart, the SGV Freiberg and the Stuttgarter Kickers. 2005 he moved to SSV Jahn Regensburg, where he remained until June 2006 for the U-19 team and then - played for the second team - until 2007. His debut in the first team he was in the Regionalliga Süd 31 May 2008 (34th Round ) in the 0:2 home defeat against FSV Frankfurt. The following season Sattelmaier completed in the newly created 3rd League 27 missions and became - due to a sustained injury in November 2008 by goalkeeper Bastian Becker - number one in the senior squad.

For the season 2010/11 FC Bayern München Sattelmaier undertook for his second team. Sattelmaier also became the first team as a third-choice goalkeeper available. For the 2011/12 season Sattelmaier was supplanted by Maximilian Riedmüller, since he is only the second goalkeeper of the team and ranks fourth in the senior squad. After two seasons his engagement ended with Bayern at the end of the 2011/12 season; for the first team he came but only in test matches used.
