Rouven Schröder
Rouven Schröder ( born October 18, 1975 in Arnsberg ) is a former German footballer who is 2013 athletic director of SpVgg Greuther Fürth since January.
Playing career
In youth Schröder played at SV Arnsberg and the SC Neheim- Hüsten. Then he went to the SSV Meschede. In 1999 he moved to VfL Bochum II to season 2000/ 01 he got into the first team in the Bundesliga. Here he played eight times in the highest German class. After the descent, the defender still played 16 times in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored three goals.
For the season 2002/ 03 changed Rouven Schröder to league rivals MSV Duisburg. After 32 games in the second division and one goal and four games in the second team, he left the club VfB Lübeck direction to the Regionalliga. Here Schroeder completed 92 games and scored five goals.
For the season 2007/ 08, the 1.87 meter tall central defender returned to the second team of VfL Bochum. He played in three seasons 53 times. After only two games in the 2009/10 season Rouven Schröder went back to VfB Lübeck in January 2010. However, he left the club again a short time later and was temporarily unemployed.
For the 2010/11 season he was with the beach 08 NTSV a new club in the Schleswig- Holstein-Liga. After twelve games and a goal Rouven Schröder ended his playing career.
Official career
Already in the 2009/10 season he was parallel to his playing career assistant coach behind Nicolas Michaty at VfL Bochum II this job, he led by 31 January 2010. After moving to the beach NTSV 08 Schroeder was also an assistant coach under Frank Salomon. With the end of the year 2010, he gave up this post again. After his career end Rouven Schröder was the start of the 2010/11 season Videoanalysierer and Scout at the Bundesliga 1.FC Nuremberg.
To June 25, 2012 Schroeder was coordinator of the professional team SpVgg Greuther Fürth. On January 4, 2013 he was promoted to athletic director of Greuther Fürth. After a leave of absence of the head coach Mike Büskens on February 20, 2013 Schröder initiated on the side of the Interim coach Ludwig price temporarily the training operation of Fürth league.
