Roy Chiao

Roy Chiao (Chinese乔 宏, Pinyin Qiao Hong, born March 16, 1927 in Shanghai, China, † 14 April 1999 in Seattle, Washington), was a Chinese actor.

Chiao began with the movie Spring Song his career as an actor. After this film, he continued to play with mainly in Chinese films. He also starred in films with Bruce Lee, as in The Man with the Dragon Bruce Lee - My last fight and the last fight the Dragon. With Jackie Chan, he played in the movies Action Hunter, The Protector and Powerman 3

Chiao occurred rarely in foreign films. One of his most famous roles was the foreign Lao Che in the Indiana Jones movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of the death. In the movie Bloodsport, which marked the breakthrough of Jean -Claude Van Damme, he embodies Mr. Tanaka, his coach and his father's friend. After his many film appearances ended his career with the film All 's Well, Ends Well in 1997. Two years later, Roy Chiao died at the age of 72 from heart disease.
