Roy Kift

Roy Kift ( born January 30, 1943 in Bideford, Devon ) is an English writer.

Life

Roy Kift studied at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth Romance; he graduated in 1964 with the degree of BA from. 1965-1968 he studied acting training at the Drama Centre London. He then worked as an actor in Sheffield, Newcastle, London and Amsterdam. Since 1970 he is full-time writer and translator. He is the author of plays, nonfiction and children's books and translated plays, non-fiction, academic books in the social and cultural history as well as exhibition catalogs from German, French and Italian into English.

2014 was Roy Kift Dagmar Kift, a postdoctoral historian, married. Together they have two daughters.
