Royal Teens

The Royal Teens were a rock 'n' roll band that was founded in New Jersey in 1957. She has become known for her single Short shorts that reached 1958 # 3 in the U.S. charts. The follow-up single Believe me in 1958 ranked only 26th place An LP was never recorded. The band split in 1965.

The saxophonist Bill Crandle founded in the same year the group The Knickerbockers; the pianist Bob Gaudio later became a member of The Four Seasons; the guitarist Al Kooper, in 1967, the group Blood, Sweat & Tears.
