Rozonda Thomas
Chilli ( Rozonda actually Ocelean Thomas, born February 27, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia ) is an American singer and actress. Notoriety she gained as a member of the R & B trio TLC.
Biography
Thomas arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of an Arab and an African - American -born mother to the world. My biological father left them before they're born. In high school, she was often confronted with racism, had many fights with classmates. After she graduated from high school, she wanted to become a fashion designer. Some detours, however, led to a job as a dancer before she was later discovered by her future manager Pebbles and commissioned in 1991 along with Tionne Watkins and Lisa Lopes as TLC under contract. It replaced before signing the contract, the singer Crystal Jones, who was planned as the third member of TLC.
In 1995, she learned at the age of 25 years in the U.S. talk show Sally know her biological father. Two years later she gave birth to her son Tron, whose father is her boyfriend at the time and TLC producer Dallas Austin. She also modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and founded her own publishing company, T- Ron Music. As an actress she had in films and series such as snow -free and the wild seventies supporting roles. In 2001, she came along with the R & B singer Usher, separated, however, three years later due to the high difference in age from him.
By 2008 Chilli was working on her solo album, whose release was originally scheduled for mid- 2007 via Akon's sublabel Seminary Records. For the production of plate Polow Don, Dallas Austin and rapper Akon show, inter alia, Missy Elliott, as responsible.
