RTL aktuell

RTL aktuell is the main news broadcast on RTL. The 20 - minute program is broadcast daily in the evening at 18:45 clock, live from Cologne.

Concept of mission

RTL is currently part of the news division at RTL. This has been set up and expanded in recent years, especially by the former chief editor Hans Mahr. RTL News

RTL News is an abridged edition of the newscast RTL aktuell, which is not advertised in the program.
