RTP Unia Racibórz

The RTP Unia Racibórz ( Raciborskie Towarzystwo Piłkarskie Unia Racibórz ) is a women's football club based in the Polish city Racibórz. He was initially founded in 1997 as Men's Football Club in succession to the football section of the KS (Club Sportowy ) Unia Racibórz. In 2001, a women's team went into training. This was filed for game operation in the 2nd Polish League of Women 2003. 2005 she managed the promotion to the 1st League and 2007 in the top flight, the Playoff Final.

Due to disagreements in the Board on the use of financial resources parted in January 2008 Men's and Women's Division. RTP Unia was a pure woman football team, while the men since then as KP (Club Piłkarski ) Unia Racibórz occur. In the season 2008/ 09 RTP Unia was surprisingly ahead of series KS AZS Wrocław Champion Polish woman champion and qualified for the new UEFA Women's Champions League. In the season 2009/ 10, 2011 /12 and 2012/13, this success could be repeated.

His rapid rise and its remarkable success owes RTP Unia very much the personal and financial commitment of the club president and head coach Remigiusz Trawiński whose private Steinsetzer company is the main sponsor covers the largest part of the financial requirements. In recognition of this insert Trawiński was appointed on 25 January 2011 to the manager of the Polish national football team of women, his club remains faithful in all functions.
