Rubén Soria

Ruben Soria ( born 1935 ) is a former Uruguayan football player.

Association

The left-back was already active at times for the Youth Club Atlético Cerro, where he was in 1953 in the 3 ª Especial to the team. He played is enough, at least in the years 1960 and 1962-1963 División at Cerro in the Uruguayan Primera. There he was involved in the biggest success in club history when he became Vice Uruguayan champion with the Albiceleste in 1960. In that season he came on 18 league bets. He also took the middle of 1963 participated in the international and the biggest tour of the club in the club's history that led from May to July of that year through Europe, the Soviet Union and Africa. Throughout his career he also played for Liverpool FC. He was part of that team in 1966 under coach Eugenio Galvalissi the re- promotion to the Primera División.

National

Soria was a member of the Uruguayan national football team and took their part in the World Cup 1962. However, he was not used in the course of the tournament.
