Ruby Kinglet (Regulus calendula )

The Ruby Kinglet (Regulus calendula ) is a small American songbird.

Features

At the top of the bird is lighter colored olive - gray and at the bottom. He has white wing bars and a broken white eye-ring. The red spot on the head of the male is usually only seen when it is energized. The black beak is thin and the tail short.

Occurrence
