Ruby Muhammad

Ruby Muhammad Ruby Macie Grayer actually ( born March 20, 1907 in Sandersville, Georgia, † March 2, 2011 in Sacramento, California ) was an important member of the Muslim organization Nation of Islam.

Career

She grew up in Georgia in Americus. By joining the Nation of Islam in 1946 learned her life, a sudden turn of events. She was enthusiastic about the teachings of Islam who gave their support and guidance, began to be interested in international affairs and has traveled the world to do business on behalf of the nation. They rose to a highly respected personality in the nation. In 1986, they proclaimed leader Louis Farrakhan for " Mother of the Nation of Islam."

She was married twice and brought four children into the world. At her death she resided in Sacramento, California. Previously, she lived in Saint Paul ( Minnesota) and San Francisco.

Ruby Muhammad has always been the 1897 given as date of birth and, accordingly celebrated her 110th birthday in 2007. Research on the U.S. census, however, have brought to light that it is come into the world until 1907.
