Rude Boy Records
Rude Boy Records is a German record label that operates both in production and in distribution.
History
The label was founded in the early 1990s by former music executive and songwriter Stan Andric Elle as a separate independent label. Rude Boy Records went here flow directly from the company Andric Stan Elle Productions.
In cooperation with the distributor BMG Ariola appeared on 5 August 1992 with Big Illusion is the first release of the label and at the same time, the label debut of the four southern German hard rockers Mason, who were supported in their first work from the band manager and label boss Andric Stan Elle as a songwriter. Said studio album was mostly well received in the general music as well as trade press, which also led to a gig at London's Marquee Club.
1993 released the label with the single Stop The Racism the first publication of Colours United. Together with the two Colours United artists Dee Smoove and the Advanced Chemistry Co-founder DJ Mike MD committed one against the background of increasing xenophobia in the context of the No Hate in the wild south - action of the former Stuttgart radio station SDR 3 The Colours United studio album You Talk 2 much was published in early 1995, both on CD and on vinyl.
In 1993, Rude Boy Records also hit the road with the electronic music. It first appeared in the single Waited far too long b / w Torch! by Vincent Wilkie, later known as lotte ohm, and of whose earlier music band The Unexpected, followed by the first studio album by the band (A Pocketful of Truth ). With Bambi 's Revenge was followed by a Jayzz and funk -heavy album of the band of the same name, which is known as Bambees Revenge today. The guitar player Jörg Lehnardt at that time was part of the group and since his time at Blowbeat already belongs to the great musicians of his subject. He toured in 1999 for three weeks by the People's Republic of China. In addition, he was appointed to the faculty at the Academy of Music in Cologne in jazz guitar and combo.
A year later, the label made the headlines again when it released the joint album rebels of the art of the Rock & Roll Junkies and Konrad Kujau, the forger of the Hitler diaries. Towards the end of 1995 followed by the closure of the label project, published in November 1995, which is why the album Purify ... from the Speyer metal band Scapegoat which should be so far last release due to internal problems.
In 2005, the label was, however, revived. During this time, the program has changed, new artists and producers were added. Meanwhile, Rude Boy Records focuses primarily on underground hip -hop and rap.
