Rudnik, Racibórz County

Rudnik is a village and capital of the same rural community in the powiat Raciborski in the Polish province of Silesia.

Geography

The municipality occupies 13.59 % of the area of the district. The municipality has an area of ​​Rudnik 73.94 km ², of which 85 % land for agriculture and 7 % forest.

Neighboring municipalities are Baborów, Cisek, Kuźnia Raciborska, Nędza, Pietrowice Wielkie Polska Cerekiew and Racibórz.

History

As part of the National Socialist local renaming the place name was changed to Mr. Kirch because of its Slavic origin in 1936.
