Rudolf Geschwind

Rudolf Geschwind ( born August 29, 1829 in Hředle, Bohemia; † August 30, 1910 in Carp, Hungary ) was a rose breeder.

His growing roses began Rudolf Geschwind as a hobby. Between 1860 and 1910 he published around 140 mostly hardy rose varieties.
