Rudolf Otto von Ottenfeld

Rudolf Otto Ritter Ottenfeld ( born July 21, 1856 in Verona, † July 26, 1913 in Prague ) was a German battles and Oriental painter.

Life

Ottenfeld was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Professors Carl Wurzinger and KL Mueller. Ottenfeld lived in Munich (1883-1893) and Vienna (1893-1900), his last thirteen years of life spent as a professor of painting at the Prague Academy.

Including several historicizing representations - - He was deeply interested in military motifs, several battle scenes as well as uniform images are obtained.
