Rudolph II, Count of Habsburg

Rudolph II, Count of Habsburg, called the Kind († April 10, 1232 ) was Count of Habsburg, Duke of Laufenburg, Zürichgau and Aargau and Landgrave of Alsace. His wife was Agnes of Staufen ( * around 1165/1170, † before 1232) not from the House of Hohenstaufen but the Stoufen.

Rudolf was the only son of Albrecht III. and Ita Pfullendorf - Bregenz, the daughter of Rudolf of Pfullendorf. After the death of his father in 1199 he became Count of Habsburg. He was the grandfather of Rudolf I, the first Habsburg King of the Holy Roman Empire.
