Ruediger John

Ruediger John (born 1971 in Vienna) is an Austrian artist.

He created Situational effects, elements, interventionist, recherche- and publication- oriented work; and also originate definitional and practical work in artistic research and systemic Art and transfer art from him. He advises companies as an artist since 1997 with critical- aesthetic Coaching and Consulting.

Since 2000, Ruediger John teaches in teaching assignments and guest lectures at various universities; inter alia, 2001-2003 as an artistic and scientific staff and with artistic teaching situational, installative work, contextualization, cognition, mixed media at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. From 2002-2003, a Visiting Professor in the area Kunst/Kunst- and Design Studies at the College of Design, Business and Technology Pforzheim held. 2004-2005 he taught on the subjects of art and business, Systemic art, artistic research at the Institute for Art in Context at the University of Arts in Berlin, and at the Centre for Cultural and General Studies University of Karlsruhe. He is the founder of the Society for Critical Aesthetics ( 2003).

Ruediger John studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, as well as invited to Columbia University and New York University, New York City ( affiliate / guest).
