Rufus of Metz

Saint Rufus of Metz ( † about 400 in Metz) was bishop of Metz. His feast day is November 7. About his life little is known. In the trial of Priscillian for Manichaeism was, inter alia, collected at the instigation of charges against the heretics. In the 9th century, his remains were transferred to Gau- home and buried in the church named after him.
