Rui Duarte (footballer born 1980)

Sandro Rui Duarte de Carvalho ( born October 11, 1980 in Lisbon ), known as Rui Duarte, is a Portuguese footballer. The full-back played a total of 204 games in the Portuguese Super Liga and the Romanian League 1 Since January 2013, he plays for Anorthosis Famagusta.

Career

The career of Rui Duarte began in 2003, when it undertook the second division side GD Estoril Praia. There he was able to fight for a regular place and reached the club at the end of season promotion to the Super League, where followed in the next season of relegation. He then moved to the league rivals Boavista Porto. After a year he moved to CF Estrela Amadora, where he was also placed with the club after relegation in 2007 for the following season in midfield.

In 2008, Rui Duarte Portugal left and moved to FC Brasov in Romania. In summer 2010, took him to the Premier League rivals Rapid Bucharest.
