Rumer (musician)
Rumer ( born June 3, 1979 in Islamabad, Pakistan; actually Sarah Joyce ) is a British singer- songwriter. My father, with whom her mother had an extramarital affair, was Pakistanis. The choice of the artist's name was inspired by the British author Rumer Godden, who lived in India for long.
Rumer was taken at the record label Atlantic Records. Their debut single Slow was voted BBC Radio 2 for Record of the Week program, reaching after the publication of the Top 20 on the British charts. The debut album Seasons of My Soul was released in late 2010 and debuted at # 3 on the British charts.
