Runa Laila

Runa Laila ( Bengali: রুনা লায়লা, Runa Layla, born November 17, 1952 in Sylhet as Sultana Chaudhry ) is a singer from Bangladesh.

Life

In their home country Runa Laila is a popular pop singer; However, in other parts of South Asia she is also known for her ghazal interpretations. She has recorded songs for many Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi movies. Her most famous song is Dama Dam Mast Qalandar, which was covered by many other singers. She was on tour in South Asia, Arab States, the United States and England.

Runa Laila is married since 2006 to his second wife with the Bangladeshi actor Alamgir.
