Rupert Marko

Rupert Marko (* November 24, 1963 in Wagna ) is a retired Austrian football player and current coach.

Marko played for Retznei, BJLZ Graz, SK Sturm Graz, FC Tirol, Austria Salzburg, Austria Vienna, FC Gossau and Flavia Solva.

On February 5, 1988 Rupert Marko made ​​his debut against Switzerland in the national team. 4-0 victory on 17 May 1988 against Hungary in Budapest Népstadion he scored three goals. He came to a total of three games in the national team.

After the end of his active career Marko worked on his coaching career. He first worked for five years for the SK Sturm Graz as a youth and assistant coach. He then moved to ASK Kottingbrunn. From 2006 to October 2010, the Styrian trained the first team of the SV Horn ( Lower Austria).

From 18 July 2011 on Marko took the Austrian U-19 national team.

Besides his career as a football player Marko graduated from the law school and works in a law firm.
