Rupert Sanders

Rupert Miles Sanders ( born March 16, 1971 in London ) is a British commercial film, short film and feature film director who works in Los Angeles.

Life

Rupert Sanders is the eldest son of Michael and Thalia. His mother owned a shop in London's Fulham for dollhouses, his father was an ophthalmologist. The successful work of the commercials allowed Sanders to move to Los Angeles. The mid-1990s he learned the Model Liberty Ross ( b. 1979 ) know. She is the sister of his best friend, the Oscar winner Atticus Ross. They married in 2005 and have two children together, Skyla and Tennyson. 2013 handed Ross a divorce after Sanders had an affair with Kristen Stewart before.

Sanders graduated from the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with a degree in graphic design. First, he directed commercials in television directing, among other well-known companies such as Nike, Adidas, Xbox and Guinness. With his commercial for Halo 3: ODST he has won two Golden Lions at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. His first feature film Snow White and the Huntsman ran from May 31, 2012 in the German cinemas.
