Ruse Province
The Oblast Ruse ( Bulgarian Област Русе ) is an administrative unit in Northern Bulgaria with the same Russian city as the administrative headquarters. The northern border with Romania is formed by the course of the Danube. At 2803 km ² live 267 621 inhabitants.

The Russian oblast is divided into eight municipalities ( община ), which in turn consist of 75 places.

According to the 2011 census living in the Russian oblast 174 774 Bulgarians, 28,503 Turks, Roma and Sinthi 8533, 527 Armenians, 355 Russians, 49 Romanians, 48 Ukrainians, 19 Macedonians and other members of smaller ethnic groups.
