Ruslan Medzhitov

Ruslan M. Medzhitov ( born March 12, 1966 in Tashkent, Soviet Union, now Uzbekistan ) is an Uzbek immunologist and professor of immunobiology at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Life

Medzhitov acquired at the State University in Tashkent a bachelor and 1993 at the State University in Moscow a Ph.D. in biochemistry. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Charles Janeway at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, where he was then an Assistant Professor in 2003 and Full Professor was. Work
