History

The airline was established in 1974 and commenced operations in the same year.

Incidents

  • On 16 October 2008, the Boeing 737-200 came with the registration YV - 162T from when landing in Caracas due to hydroplaning from the runway and dug into the ground. In this, among other things, the engines badly damaged, making this machine, which was built in 1983, was treated as an economic total loss. The 54 inmates escaped with a fright.
