The Rutulians were a small nation on the coast of Latium, with its capital at Ardea, whose king Turnus same as an enemy appears in the journeys of Aeneas. The name disappears in the Roman monarchy.

The Rutulians revered as the Romans, as the supreme deities Juno and Minerva.
