Ryoko Sekiguchi

Ryoko Sekiguchi (Japanese关口 凉子, Ryoko Sekiguchi; Schriftstellerpseudonym: Natsu Yōko (ナツヨウコ), born December 21, 1970 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese poet, art historian and translator.

Life

She studied at the University of Tokyo. After her degree in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, she went to Paris and studied at the Sorbonne art history. It publishes its books in French and Japanese. In 1989 she was awarded the Poetry Prize Gendaishi Techōshō (现代 诗 手 帖 赏). She works in various institutions such as the Institut national des langues et civilizations orientales ( INALCO ).

It has, among other things Gozo Yoshimatsu (吉松刚 造), Yōko Tawada and in 2006 awarded the Noma Literary Prize work Ichijitsu yume no satsu (一 日 夢 の 柵) by Kuroi Senji into French and the French writer Jean Echenoz, Atiq Rahimi, Anne Portugal and Pierre Alfer translated into Japanese.
