Ryszard Galla

Jerzy Ryszard Galla ( born July 22, 1956 in Wroclaw, Poland) is a Polish politician of the German minority in the Polish Parliament ( Sejm ). He is also deputy chairman of the Social - Cultural Association of Germans in Opole Silesia, President of the House for German - Polish Cooperation in Gliwice and serves on the Board of the Association of the German Social - cultural societies in Poland.

Life and work

Ryszard Galla is an engineer by profession - he has been studying at the Engineering School in Opole ( now called the University of Opole University of Technology ) completed. Furthermore Galla completed a postgraduate course in the field of health administration.

From 1998 to 2005 he sat as an MP in the Parliament of the Opole Voivodeship - he was Vice - Marshal in Sejmik (up to a break in 2002, then he had the function of the Marshal held ).

In Parliament election campaign in 2001 Ryszard Galla ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Sejm. In the following 2005 elections Galla was elected with 9072 votes to the Polish Parliament, just as in the 2007 parliamentary elections and 2011 He is the only representative of the German minority in the Sejm -.
