Ryszard Komornicki

Ryszard Komornicki ( born August 14, 1959 in Ścinawa ) is a former Polish footballer and current football coach.

Club career as a player

Ryszard Komornicki began his career as a midfielder in Poland, where he played for the clubs GKS Tychy Gornik Zabrze and.

In 1989 he moved to Switzerland for FC Aarau, where he played five seasons successfully.

National team career as a player

Ryszard Komornicki played 20 A- international matches for the Polish national football team and participated in the 1986 World Cup.

Career as a coach

In 2001 Komornicki was from July 1, briefly coach of FC Luzern. After only one month, during which he won only one point from five games of his team, he was released early on July 28. From January 2006 to April 2006, he coached the Polish first division club Gornik Zabrze. Since the winter break 2006/2007 bis 2009 Komornicki was, with an interruption to the end of the season, coach at FC Aarau. On 1 June 2009, the contract with Komornicki for " lack of trust " was disbanded at FC Aarau .. Then he coached Gornik Zabrze. Shortly before Christmas 2009, he signed with FC Wil a contract until the summer of 2011. According to a commitment to the Egyptian club El Gouna, he returned to Switzerland in early 2012, where the rescued FC Wohlen before descending from the Challenge League. On August 20, 2012, he was appointed coach of FC Luzern. He took over the succession to the sacked Murat Yakin. On April 2, 2013, the FC Luzern separated from him again.
