Ryszard Kraus

Ryszard Władysław Kraus ( * June 30, 1964 in Bestwina; † November 3, 2013 ) was a Polish footballer.

Career

Clubs

He began his career in the youth at LZS Bestwina. From 1980 he played in 1962 Jastrzębie with GKS. In 1987 he moved to Odra Wodzisław Slaski, returned from there back in 1989 for half a year after Jastrzębie.

In the summer of 1989 he joined Gornik Zabrze. With Gornik he stood in 1992 in the final of the Polish Football Cup against Miedź Legnica, which was lost with 3:4 on penalties. Kraus missed the score at 1:2 a penalty.

In 1994 he left Zabrze and moved to GKS Tychy. After just one season he returned to his hometown club LZS Bestwina, where he ended his career in 1996.

National

In the Polish national Kraus came in four friendlies in 1991 against Northern Ireland (1-3 ) and Finland (1:1 ) and 1992 against Czechoslovakia ( 1-0) and Guatemala (2-2 ) are used, where he remained without a goal.
