Saanich (British Columbia)

Saanich is a city in the Canadian province of British Columbia, more on the barrier island Vancouver Iceland. It lies north of the provincial capital, Victoria, and is part of the Capital Regional District. The name goes back to the resident coastal Salish Indians who Saanich.
