Sabine Derflinger

Sabine Derflinger (* 1963 in Wels ) is an Austrian film director, writer, producer and dramaturgical consultant. She lives and works in Vienna and Berlin.

Life

1991 Sabine Derflinger began her studies at the Vienna Film Academy ( specializing in book and dramaturgy ), after it had previously been there several years as an assistant director and production assistant in film acting. In 1996, she graduated with the diploma thesis " film narratives between epic and drama " successfully.

Sabine Derflinger is known for numerous feature films and documentaries, many of her works have won awards. In recent years, she drew attention to himself by several TV productions. She is the first woman to lead the scene directed the Austrian edition of the cult crime series.
