Sabine Haudepin

Sabine Haudepin (* October 19, 1955 in Montreuil ) is a French actress and sister of actor and director Didier Haudepin.

Life and work

Even as a child was occupied Sabine Haudepin of François Truffaut for the films Jules and Jim (1961) and The Soft Skin (1963). Also as a child, she played the daughter of Marie Dubois in Pierre Badels film adaptation of the life of Marie Curie and the niece of Jean- Pierre Cassel in Michel Deville's The Bear and the Doll.

As an adult she was rediscovered by Truffaut for the supporting role of the ambitious actress Nadine Marsac in The Last Metro (1980). Haudepin was nominated in 1982 for her portrayal of Elise André Téchiné film Tisserand in meeting in Biarritz for the César for Best Supporting Actress. In 1989 she was awarded by Édouard Molinaro 1989, the title role of Manon Roland. As a tribute to her appearances in Truffaut she received in 1995 in the film adaptation of one of his last screenplays, the TV miniseries Belle Époque, the role of Henriette Caillaux.
