SAC Capital Advisors

S.a.c. Capital is an investment company founded in 1992 by Steven A. Cohen, who is registered on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. The head office of administration is located in Stamford, northeast of New York. The company runs several hedge funds, with the largest fund, SAC Capital Advisors, in 2003 was $ 4 billion heavy. More funds are: s.a.c. Capital Associates, s.a.c. Healthco Funds, SAC Capital Management, SAC Capital Partners, Sigma Capital Management, SAC Multi Quant Fund, s.a.c. Arbitrage Fund. 2013 SAC pay € 1.3 billion penalty for insider trading and should from that time only manage one's own capital. A court, however, must still approve the deal between SAC and the prosecutor.
