Sackets Harbor is a village in the United States. It lies at the mouth of the Black River into Lake Ontario, is part of the municipality of Hounsfield and Jefferson County in the State of New York, United States. Sackets Harbor has 1386 inhabitants ( 2000).

Sackets Harbor was founded in 1801 by the land owner Augustus Sackett and was up to the establishment of Watertown the most important settlement in the region.
