Sackler Prize

The Sackler Prize ( Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize ) at Tel Aviv University is a price in biophysics, chemistry ( " Physical Sciences " ) and Physics, awarded in chemistry and physics to younger scientists. The topics for which the prize is awarded, and the disciplines alternate. The price is $ 100,000 each (as of 2012) endowed and named after the founders Raymond and Beverly Sackler.

The age limit was initially 40 years, from 2008 45. For the price in Biophysics no age limit applies; applies to the winner of the award in chemistry, that the acquisition of the Ph.D. to back no more than 15 years ( as of 2012).
