Sadou Hayatou

Sadou Hayatou ( born 1942 in Garou ) is a politician from Cameroon.

Hayatou was born in Garou, Cameroon and grew up there as well. After attending primary school, he continued to further education in France, where he attended school in Toulouse. He then took up the study, which he finished with a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating, he returned to Cameroon, where he was director of several companies. 1969 to 1970 he was Vice President of an international cocoa production.

Political career

Sadou Hayatou had several positions in the Cameroonian government. Due to the economic experience was Hayatou of Cameroon Minister of Agriculture, where he was on August 22, 1983 to August 24, 1985 in office. Later he was on 4 December 1987 to December 7, 1990 Minister of Finance. This was followed by the positions of the Secretary, until he was appointed on 26 April 1991 to the Prime Minister of Cameroon. His term was limited to less than a year, until 9 April 1992. Thus He took over from his predecessor Luc Ayang.
