Safet Plakalo

Safet Plakalo ( born March 4, 1950 in Plakali, Yugoslavia, now Montenegro) is a Bosnian dramatist and one of the few writers of dramatic poetry with South Slavic orientation.

Life

Safet Plakalo was born on March 4, 1950 in the village Plakali, in the municipality of Pljevlja. He attended high school in Sarajevo and made a study in the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Political Science. Plakalo speaks foreign languages ​​as English and Macedonian. His first drama Vrh he wrote at the age of 26 years and thus became the youngest playwright in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For many years he has been the director of the Sarajevo war theater.
