Sâhib Ata

Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali as Fakhr al -Din Ali known ( † 1288/1289 ) was a Seljuk politicians. He was vizier and Grand Vizier in the Sultanate of Rum - Seljuks.

Career

In the years 1256/57 bis 1258/1259 he held the post of Amir Dad. In 1259 he was Na'ib. In years 1259 /60 to 1271/72 and 1272/1273 bis 1288/89 he held the Wesiramt. After the death of Pervane he became Grand Vizier.

Structures

He founded many foundations and erected mosques and madrasas, including the Sahip Ata Mosque in Konya, İnce Minareli madrasa in Konya and the Gok Madrasa in Sivas ( 1271).

Beylik

He founded the Beylik the Sahipataoğulları in Afyonkarahisar. Moreover he got right from the start in conflict with the Nachbarbeylik the Germiyan. The Beylik came soon after his death in the dependence of the Germiyan.
