The Sähre, also called Seere, in Rothaargebirge is 726 m above sea level. NN high mountain in Upland in Waldeck- Frankenberg in northern Hesse ( Germany ).

Geographical location

The Sähre is located in the northwestern part of North Hesse in Upland, the northeast outlet of the Rothaargebirge. It rises in the nature park Diemelsee few kilometers east of the town between the core Willinger Willinger villages Eimelrod with the located slightly north of it Hemmighausen in the Northeast and Usseln in the south. Your southern neighbor is the Osterkopf. The Sähre is happening in the west from the upper reaches of the Diemel. At its south-eastern flank springs the Mülmecke which tends by Eimelrod the Diemel.
