The Sailaufbach or Sailauf is the largest right tributary of the Laufach in the Aschaffenburg district in the Spessart in Lower Franconia.
Name
The original name Sailauf waters consists of the Middle High German words SiGeN and loufe. You mean to lowering watercourse. The brook gave the place its name Sailauf.
Geography
Course
The Sailaufbach rises in a valley southwest of the Englishman in Sailaufer forest. It flows south-west direction and reaches Obersailauf. It flows through the village beside the road. In Mittelsailauf him his biggest tributary, the river flows to Eichenberger. The Weyberhöfen the Sailaufbach opens into the Laufach.
