Saint-Chinian

Saint- Chinian is a commune with 1821 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Hérault in the Languedoc- Roussillon region.

History

The area around the town of Saint -Chinian been inhabited since prehistoric times. Where the chapel Notre Dame de Nazareth is to find the members of the village community Tudéry today, an oppidum, near the settlement of rock fractures was with tombs.
