Saint Egino

Egino or Egon (* around 1065 probably in Augsburg, † July 15, 1120 in Pisa) was a monk and later a major Reformabt ( 1109-1120 ) at the Benedictine monastery of St. Ulrich and Afra in Augsburg.

Life

Given at a young age to the Benedictine monks of St. Ulrich and Afra, he was educated there and entered 1080 as a monk in the monastery.
