Saint-Hilaire-des-Landes

Saint- Hilaire -des-Landes ( Breton: Sant - Eler -al- Lann ) is a commune with 993 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Ille -et -Vilaine in the Brittany region.

The municipality is situated approximately 41 km north-east of Rennes and 37 km south of the Mont Saint- Michel, on the banks of the river Minette.

The name is derived from the former Bishop of Poitiers, Hilary of Poitiers.
