Saint-Pierre-Saint-Jean
Saint- Pierre -Saint -Jean is a commune of 147 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardèche.
Geography
Saint- Pierre -Saint -Jean is located between the rivers Chassezac and Céze at the foot of the Cevennes in the south of the department. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Monts d' Ardèche. The nearest major town is located around 38 kilometers from Alès south.
History
The municipality was created on 1 July 1975 by the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Saint- Pierre -le- Déchausselat and Saint -Jean -de- Pourcharesse.
