The Sall on their last kilometers
The Sall is a good 20 km long river in northern Baden- Württemberg, which flows into the digester at the district Are rings the city Forchtenberg in Hohenlohe from left and southeast.
Geography
Course
The Sall rises in the hallway Won Knight about a kilometer south of the copper cell Belzhag to about 350 m above sea level. NN. After a forest takes up her left bank, the Sallbusch, on whose edge they first course meanders. It occurs on the municipality of New stone over, henceforth accompanied by a grove gallery, and after the inflow of Eschelbachs it happened left the scattered houses of the hamlet Langensall, which Kirchensall followed, where they reach on the right side only of Dietzenbach and then the parish Bach. The following is the first of the hamlet Mainhardtsall Talsiedlungen only on the left flank, after which occurs about Sall on Forchtenberger district in the inflow of Orbachs.
Up to this point the Salltal was a conspicuous in the landscape through his direction resistance and width, but very free and in its hilly surroundings hardly deep to be named trough. From about the influx of Dendelbachs that changes, by its tributary, the K 2348 opposite Hohensall descends into the valley and crosses it. The Sall flows now about 60 meters below the surrounding heights, to the now steeper valley slopes is a forest, the valley becomes narrower and no road runs more in him.
No two kilometers to the inlet of the Märzklingenbächles the Sall occurs two Flinger area over and begins a tight left turn in which they happened Orendelsall left side, and comes at the end of the crossing bridge in the L 1048 perpendicular to the valley of her left and with almost 13 km also the longest tributary of deer creek, in the flow direction she then moves on.

Catchment area
Catchment area of the Sall over 52 square kilometers of Hohenlohe plain. Northeast of you pull the copper to the digester at a distance that varies between less than one and a half kilometers along the upper reaches and a little over five kilometers between the mouths. South of their drainage area attracts the step edge flow Epbach west to Ohrn and cuts it while on the inflow from the Waldburger mountains. Share of the catchment area have especially the city of New stone at the top and the community Zweiflingen on the lower reaches, to a lesser Forchtenberg the city in the middle reaches and at the mouth. The top running belongs to the municipality copper cell, the deer of Bach to the town of Waldenburg. Only tiny snippets belong to the city Öhringen.
The big left - Sall inflow Hirsch Bach at high water flow inflow from the upper Epbachs a division building in which course near the Waldburger domain Hohebuch. It stands out in a flat Talung to top Hirschbachwinkel, its artificial normal derivative to the lower back Epbach runs through a pipe. Adding to the apparently naturally the Hirschbachwinkel associated current headwaters of Epbachs this, then the deer brook becomes a hydrological main flow of the SalI system. Geology
The Sall begins its course a little above the lower Keuper and remains there until about Mainhardtsall. The remaining distance to the mouth runs in the Muschelkalk.
The lower reaches of the Sall after the influx of deer brook runs between two long, parallel west-northwest withdrawing geological fault lines, the northern northeastern her middle reaches probably already follows from the inlet of the Orbachs.
Striking is the approximate synchronism of the Sall with its tributary Hirschbachwinkel and copper as copper from the cell.
