Salland

Salland is a region in the Dutch province of Overijssel.

The region includes the area between the cities of Deventer, Zwolle, Ommen and Rijssen - Holten and is scenically interesting by small castles, forests and varied agriculture. The eastern bank of the river IJssel forms the western boundary of the region. In addition to these cities, especially the extensive industrial village Raalte important.
