Sam Houser

Sam Houser (born 1972 in London ) is an English computer game developer.

Life

He founded together with Terry Donovan, Dan Houser his brother, Jamie King and Gary J. Foreman in 1998, the subsidiary of Take 2 Interactive, Rockstar Games, and is its president. Since March 1998 Houser is Vice - President of Take 2 Interactive. At the Grand Theft Auto games Houser was involved as one of the inventors, as a writer and as an executive producer; in the first game, he took over as director. Since the third game of the GTA series, he is the director of the series. In 2009, he was counted by the U.S. online games IGN together with his brother Dan to the 100 most important game developers of all time.
